Quality Of Life Plus

Quality of Life Plus (QL+) was founded by Jon Monett, a former CIA Operative then Senior Executive and US Air Force Veteran in 2008 after viewing the inspiring film, Fighting for Life.  In today’s wars, fewer service members are killed, but many more sustain serious, life-altering injuries, many of whom need dedicated help in overcoming the daily challenges of their disabilities. Through unique partnerships with engineering schools at leading universities, QL+ sponsors and directs a wide array of technology development projects aimed at improving the quality of life for these patriots. Throughout the year, student teams work directly with individuals to present veterans with completed assistive devices and/or modified hardware, items that are crucial to improving the daily quality of life for these heroes. ACTIVE Charity was able to raise over $160,000 for QL+ through fundraising initatives with the help of the Danville community, and will continue to support QL+ and their mission for years to come.
